Iron market showed no improve in February when China entered the Spring Festival. Both demand and supply stayed at a low level while most iron producers cut operation due to the low temperature and downstream casting plants also decreased procurement during the holiday. Iron stocks kept increasing during the Spring Festival holiday and iron prices were pressed to drop further late the month when the holiday was over.
