In December, most participants in mercury metal market move side and watch the market. With continual decrease in prices, producers are holding back from selling, and end consumers make purchase on need-basis, and put downward pressure on producers, while traders add certain amount of stocks since think the prices have almost touched bottom line. Suppliers with stocks pressure would lower offers further with end of the year coming, but space is not large, about RMB5/kg (USD0.8/kg).
