The whole zirconium market remained sluggish in April, but zircon sand prices moved up slightly in China, impacted by the higher imported material prices which kicked in around late March. However, downstream markets remained weak with slow demand, so prices for zirconium products continued to be stable at lower levels. The competition among producers remained fierce this month.
