1. Financial overview
1.1 HSBC manufacturing industry PMI in February records new low in past seven month
HSBC issued the final China’s manufacturing industry PMI in February of 48.5 with initial one of 48.3, reducing by 1% compared with that in January and recording new low in the past seven month. Furthermore, the index stayed at above 50 for two consecutive months. Product demand and new orders in the index dipped, resulting in the decrease of employment for four consecutive months. The final employment index in February was 47.2, recording the new low for the past five years, while the initial index was 46.9, and the final one in February was 47.3.
