Zircon sand market remained quiet with weak demand and sporadic deals in December, and prices continued to slide down. Most insiders were pessimistic about the future market and anticipated further price reduction.
Zirconium silicate market also did not see any improvement, and producers sold materials actively in fear of further depreciation. However, downstream demand remained weak, and prices of zirconium silicate kept low.
Zirconium oxychloride market remained extremely sluggish without any sign of improvement in demand, and prices kept low. Some producers halted production, and most manufacturers cut production output.
