During August, Chinese domestic magnesia market remained in a dull status without any improvement. Domestic slow steel market influenced demand for refractory materials. Chinese magnesia smelters didn’t adjust their prices this month, and domestic magnesia prices kept stable with no fluctuations. As for magnesia export market, Chinese magnesia suppliers kept decreasing magnesia export prices, and overseas consumers were attracted by lower prices. Demand became more active in August than that of in July.
