In July Chinese chrome market was sluggish and most participants were pessimistic towards the future market trend with demand weak and deals rare. Meanwhile, the decreasing prices of imported high carbon ferrochrome have placed additional pressure on the Chinese domestic producers. It is believed that the chrome industry will remain under pressure in the coming month, unless demand from the stainless steel industry rebounds.
