Selenium market goes downward further in May, along with significant fall in prices. The decrease in raw material prices gives space for selenium dioxide prices to continue to fall. Manganese smelters tend to reduce production with the continuous fall in manganese prices. Selenium suppliers still hold back from rebuilding stocks from the global market except for long term orders, considering the dull demand from downstream market. Most participants are not confident in the future market. Tellurium suppliers lower their offers in May due to sluggish demand from downstream market where refrigeration market enters off season gradually.
