BEIJING (Asian Metal) 18 Nov 15 - The price of CRC in Turkey continues to decrease at the moment, influenced by the weak demand from downstream consumers
A trader in Kayseri tells Asian Metal that the quotation for CRC DC01 1.0mm*1,250mm*C from local steel mills is USD440/t VAT excluded, falling by USD5/t compared with that of last week.
Noted by the source, local steel mills hold CRC ex-works price narrowly stable at USD420/t VAT excluded. Even though prices of steel scrap continued to increase in past two weeks, steel mills can hardly lift CRC prices as the demand remained very weak . According to the source, the price of CRC totally went down by around USD10/t in past two weeks, but there was little activity in the market.
