With most of the Chinese suppliers focusing on long-term contracts, the gallium metal 99.99%min market remained sluggish. Inquiries from the spot market were quite limited and demand from end users was at a low level due to the Spring Festival holiday. Though the mainstream prices for gallium metal 99.99%min ended the month at RMB1,200-1,260/kg (USD193-203/kg), unchanged compared with that of January, the supply on the market was still abundant. End users maintained hand-to-mouth purchasing volumes.
