Rare earth domestic market picked up slightly in the early August due to the national storage. Purchasers become inactive to rebuild inventories. Prices for PrNd and dysprosium related products showed upward tendencies. Suppliers were in no hurry to make purchases. As demand from downstream industries keeps inactive, rare earth market saw slow buying activities and dropping prices in late August. It was hard for suppliers to make deals. It is predicted that rare earth market will continue to show flat tendencies in September as a result of poor demand from downstream markets.
