CATL announced that it signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Honda on power battery R&D, supply, recycle and other fields on July 10th in order to boost win-win development between the two long-term commercial partners.
Honda plans to acquire about 1% of the total non-publicly issued shares via its subsidiary Honda Technology and Research Industry (China) Investment. During the validity period of the agreement, CATL will guarantee the supply of the agreed types of batteries to Honda with certain business preferential conditions.
