Shaanxi Yinjie starts construction of indium phosphide semi-conductor materials industrialization project

On July 7, Shaanxi Yinjie Semi-conductor Co., Ltd. held an opening ceremony in Tongchuan New Materials Industry Park for its indium phosphide semi-conductor materials industrialization project.
With the total investment of RMB760 million (USD109 million) from Shaanxi Yinjie Semi-conductor Co., Ltd., the project will be completed in three phases. RMB60 million (USD8.57 million) for Phase I will be used in facilities including semi-conductor indium phosphide polycrystalline production facility system and pre-processing system and utilities. It is expected that Phase I of the project will complete construction and start trial production this October and produce 10,000kg of indium phosphide polycrystalline products per year after reaching the designed capacity in April 2020.
