Ningde Li New Energy Cheli Bay Project goes into construction

On the morning of February 26, construction of Ningde Li New Energy Cheli Bay Project commenced.
The project is located in Cheli bay, Jiaocheng district, Ningde city, and will have a planned land area of 2,093 Mu (139 hectares) and a total construction area of about 610,000m2; total project investment will be about RMB12.5 billion (USD1 . 78 billion), including about RMB10 billion (USD1 . 42 billion) for the project itself and about RMB2 . 5 billion (USD356 million) for matching infrastructure . The project will produce power battery and energy-storing battery used in new energy autos, and its designed total production capacity will be about 45GWh . When the project goes into full capacity, it will reach a production value of about RMB40 billion (USD5 . 70 billion).
When project land is made by blowing sands in June 2020, the project itself will go into formal construction and will see its main production buildings to be built in June to July 2021. In September to October 2021, the project will see equipment to be installed and go into trial production, and by the end of 2021 it will complete production capacity ramp-up and reach full capacity.
