According to reports from Joint Plant Committee, in October 2018, India's steel exports were 596,000 tons, down by 23.4% from 778,000 tons in the same period last year.
In October, India's steel imports were 706,000 tons, up by 17.3% from 602,000 tons in the same period last year.
In October, India's steel output was 11.29 million tons, up by 6.1% from 10.03 million tons in the same period last year.
