Sichuan New Energy Power Company Limited announced on the evening of November 14 that it plans to set up Sichuan New Energy Lithium Energy Equity Investment Fund (lithium battery fund) for the purpose of speeding up the strategic layout of power battery industry chain. The company plans to invest no more than RMB625 million in the set up of lithium battery fund, which the company plans to jointly build with Sichuan Energy Investment Development Co., Ltd., Sichuan Energy Investment Capital Holding Co., Ltd., Chengdu Sichuan Energy Xinyuan Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd., Agricultural Bank Financial Asset Investment Co., Ltd., Agricultural Bank of China Capital Management Co., Ltd. and SDIC Chuangyi Industry Fund Management Co., Ltd.
