BYD: Expand ternary battery capacity to reach full capacity in Qinghai late 2019

According to reports, BYD said in a recent survey that by the end of 2017, the total capacity of BYD power battery was 16Gwh, of which 10Gwh belongs to lithium iron phosphate battery and 6Gwh was ternary battery. The company would expand ternary battery capacity of 24Gwh in Qinghai this year, which started in June this year and is expected to reach full capacity late next year.
