  • Tianjin: ceramic and non-ferrous smelting companies required to discharge pollutants with permits

    Recently, Tianjin Environmental Protection Bureau issued a notice that requires ceramic and non-ferrous smelting companies to discharge pollutants with permits.

    In accordance with the notice, ceramic manufacturing and non-ferrous smelting companies that are incorporated into the scope of application for discharge permits before the end of 2018 must apply to local administrative bureaus or related departments for pollutant discharge permits. All ceramic manufacturing companies incorporated into the scope of application for discharge permits are forbidden to discharge pollutants without permits from 2019.
