The environmental protection project of the coke material yard of Fangda Special Steel's ironworks officially started construction recently.
It is understood that the project covers a total area of about 50,000 square meters with a designed capacity to store coke of 86,000 tons and an annual coke processing of 660,000 tons. The material yard design adopts two kinds of receiving methods: train and automobile. The material yard is equipped with closed environmental protection shed. The project construction period is 6 months. After the project is completed, it can effectively solve the problems of insufficient coking unloading and storage capacity of the plant. At the same time, it can also sort coke by varieties, avoid mixing, and play a positive role in the stability of blast furnaces.
