WBMS: Global primary aluminum market sees supply shortage of 295,000t from Jan to May 2018

WBMS announced on Wednesday that the global primary aluminum market witnessed supply shortage of 295,000t from Jan to May 2018 and 1.026 million tons in 2017.
Global demand for primary aluminum was 24.98 million tons in the first five months of 2018 and that in the same period of last year was 25.519 million tons.
In May 2018, the global output and consumption of the material was 4.908 million tons and 5.0378 million tons respectively.
