Gansu Defu New Materials launches high-end ED copper foil project

On July 5, the opening ceremony for the construction of 50,000tpy high end electrodeposited (ED) copper foil copper foil project launched by Gansu Defu New Materials Co., Ltd. was held in Lanzhou New District. China Second Metallurgy Group Corporation has been awarded the contract to build the project.
Defu New Materials is a joint venture invested by Jiujiang Defu Technology Co., Ltd., Baiyin Nonferrous Group Co., Ltd., Gansu Provincial State-owned Asset Investment Group Co., Ltd., and Lanzhou New District Investment Holding Co., Ltd. With total investment of RMB3.25 billion, the high-end ED copper foil project covers an area of 550 mus. Upon completion of the construction, the project will become the biggest ED copper foil production base in China and will further promote the development toward the direction of deep-processing for Lanzhou's nonferrous metal processing chain.
