J&R Optimum Energy terminates establishment of new energy industry investment fund

On the evening of June 20th, J&R Optimum Energy originally planned to invest RMB100-500 million with Xinhua Silk Road Fund to cosponsore the establishment of a new energy industry investment fund. However, due to the company's debt crisis, the debt overdue, and the creditor's claim, the company is difficult to raise funds and unable to subscribe agreed capital contributions for the time being. As of now, the new energy fund's raising work has not yet been completed, and the company has not yet formally invested the new energy fund and worked as its partner, nor does it hold any rights and interests of the new energy fund. It is expected that the new energy fund is unlikely to complete establishment in a short period of time. Therefore, after careful consideration, the company intends to terminate the establishment of the new energy fund jointly with the Xinhua Silk Road Fund.
