They demolished the old plant of 85,000tpy in May 2017 and started the trial operation for the first production line of 400,000tpy after its construction completion in April 2018. Mainstream transaction prices for alumina stand at RMB2,780-2,830/t (USD435-442/t) in Shanxi now, down by about RMB40/t (USD6.25/t) from Monday.
