1. Market Highlights
In April, affected by national industry policies, tight supply of vanadium products' upstream raw material vanadium pentoxide continued and prices for vanadium pentoxide flake kept firm trend. With downstream steel mills opening biddings gradually, transaction volume for Chinese ferrovanadium and vanadium-nitrogen alloy moved up but the transaction prices were sharply depressed. At the same time, affected by sharp decrease of prices for vanadium products in international market, exports for Chinese ferrovanadium and vanadium pentoxide flake declined and transaction prices also became closer to domestic sale prices.
