Ordos sees coal sales up by 34.2% in January and February

According to Economic and Information Commission of Ordos, from January to February 2018, Ordos sold 109.46 million tons of coal, up by 27.89 million tons or 34.2% YOY.
In particular, local coal mines sold 92.68 million tons of coal, up by 32.67 million tons or 54.4% YOY; Shenhua Group sold 16.78 million tons of coal, down by 4.78 million tons or 22.2% YOY.
In January and February, Ordos shipped 57.2251 million tons of coal through railways (Baoxi, Dazhun, Huzhun, Baoshen North-South, and Mengxi Dedicated Lines), up by 14 percentage points YOY.
As of the end of February, the city had shut down 29 coal enterprises above designated size.
