China's largest new energy vehicle photovoltaic super charging station has been publicly put into operation in the parking lot of Happy Valley in Songjiang of Shanghai on November 15.
The charging station covers an area of 2,500 square meters with an annual capacity of 100,000kwh, which is expected to save 40,000kg of coals, reduce carbon dioxide emission by 3,000kg and 1,500kg of nitrogen oxides discharges. The station is invested, designed, built and put into operation by Tellus Power Group.
Officials from Tellus Power claimed that ordinary new energy vehicles will be fully charged in 20 minutes and the station can satisfy more than 400 vehicles per day.
