Xiamen Institute of Rare Earth Materials officially starts academician expert workstation

On the morning of November 10th, the academician expert workstation was officially started in Xiamen Institute of Rare Earth Materials, which was constructed on September 18 of 2017, aiming at collecting and cultivating high-level scientific research personnel, strengthening key and difficult technical problems and promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Currently, the workstation focuses on production and performance research of rare earth luminescent nanometer materials as well as the development and application of multistable rare earth compounds.
Xiamen Institute of Rare Earth Materials was jointly established by Haixi Institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xiamen Municipal Government and Xiamen Tungsten Co., Ltd. in 2012, which is one of the second batch of major technological innovation public service platforms, undertaking major projects and special tasks of Fujian and international cooperation projects and tasks.
