Selen Science & Technology wins a long-term Al-plastic film supply agreement for Li-ion battery

On July 26, Selen Science & Technology announced that its subsidiary company Selen New Composite Materials has signed with Tianjin Jeve Power Industry a 41-month-long framework agreement on strategic cooperation and raw material purchase. According to the agreement, during the period from 2017 to 2020, Selen New Composite Materials will provide Jeve with over 16 million square meters of Al-plastic film used in Li-ion battery, the total sales value of which is estimated not less than RMB500 million.
Jeve is among the soft-packaged power lithium battery producers which were set up earliest and of largest size in China. This long-term supply agreement will further consolidate the position of Selen New Composite Materials as Jeve’s core supplier for Al-plastic films as products from Selen New Composite Materials will amount to over 90% of Jeve’s total purchase volume of Al-plastic films.
