According to Jiangsu Industry and Commerce Administration on June 22, 2017, it held a sample inspection on aluminum alloy products sold in the Jiangsu market in the latter half of 2016
Issues from the 17 batches of unqualified products related to size bias and surface property. In terms of surface property, compound-membrane thickness of 9 batches were found failing to meet the mandatory lowest grade requirement . Membrane thickness directly influences alkali resistance, salt-corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, and product appearance of product surface, and products with unqualified membrane thickness are more easily subject to corrosion in their usage and therefore have their service time curtailed.
. Of the 69 sampled batches of products, 44 batches had no trademarks, 52 batches were found qualified and 17 batches not (all without trademarks) . The qualification rate was 75 . 4%.
