Hansens Aluminum gets US$970,000 block grant

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 3 Mar 17 - The Kentucky Department for Local Government has awarded a $970,000 block grant to Hansens Aluminum LLC for the development of a 75,000-square-foot facility on the Ohio River in Henderson.
According to reports, the company has invested $18 million for the acquisition of land, construction and equipment for the facility in the Henderson Riverport Industrial Area. Hansens Aluminum has acquired 10 acres of land for the facility. The project is expected to create fifty full-time jobs at the plant.
The community block grant program provides assistance for use in revitalizing neighborhoods, expanding affordable housing and economic opportunities.
