Hansens Aluminum gets US$970,000 block grant

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 3 Mar 17 - The Kentucky Department for Local Government has awarded a $970,000 block grant to Hansens Aluminum LLC for the development of a 75,000-square-foot facility on the Ohio River in Henderson.
According to reports, the company has invested $18 million for the acquisition of land, construction and equipment for the facility in the Henderson Riverport Industrial Area. Hansens Aluminum has acquired 10 acres of land for the facility . The project is expected to create fifty full-time jobs at the plant.
The community block grant program provides assistance for use in revitalizing neighborhoods, expanding affordable housing and economic opportunities.
