Jinpu Titanium announced at night on February 21 that the production cost of titanium dioxide substantially increased as prices for all kinds of raw and auxiliary materials sharply picked up and the logistics cost moved up lately. After consideration, CACP of the company decided to raise the sale prices of all anatase titanium dioxide grades by RMB500/t (USD72,67/t) for domestic customers and USD80/t for overseas customers; and to raise those of all rutile materials by RMB700/t (USD102/t) for domestic customers and USD100/t for overseas customers.
According to the company, it will pay close attention to the price trend and condition of supply and demand of titanium dioxide to adjust prices in time. This prices adjustment will have a positive effect on overall performance improvement.
