The rare earth market in January kept relatively flat and the market price showed relatively stable this month. Consumers replenished stocks for the coming Spring Festival in former half of January, and the logistic started to be out of service since 20 January. However, the China’s State Reserve Bureau held a bidding meeting on 19 January, which successfully national stored eight species of rare earth oxides except yttrium oxide, and the bidding prices were higher than the market prices. As a result, the rare earth products’ prices were predicted to show uptrend in the coming month.
