The average realized aluminum premium was USD151/t in the period.
In 12M16 aluminum production totaled 3,685 thousand tonnes (+1 . 1% YoY), while aluminum sales volumes during the whole year totaled 3,818 thousand tonnes (+4 . 9% YoY) . The increase was largely attributable to the additional volumes of the Boguchansky smelter.
In 12M16 the sales of VAP which includes alloyed ingots, slabs, billet, wire rod and high, super, medium purity aluminum grew to 1,677 thousand tonnes (+6 . 7% YoY). The average price reduction is explained by the structurally different market environment in the 12M 2015 versus 12M 2016 and lower aluminum LME prices and premiums YoY.
