Aluminum ingot market in China stayed sluggish for recent months and aluminum ingot price dropped further to the points closer to RMB15,000/t (USD2,404/kwh). However, Chinese aluminum smelting plants did not cut production even under losses. Aluminum ingot stocks keep in large scale, while the stocks did not change obviously either due to bad delivery for aluminum ingot in Xinjiang province, which alleviates the pressure on the market.
