In June, brown fused alumina market moved slow as the demand from downstream consumers was still weak, and some smelters in Shanxi even halted production for equipment maintenance. Although Greece stayed in European Union after domestic election, uncertainty about European economy still existed, and European market is still dull. Some producers in Shandong cut down white fused alumina price slightly, but market still moved slow.
