Influenced by the weak demand and traders’ less confidence in the coming market, prices of wire rod and rebar declined this month. However, the daily domestic crude steel output in middle November declined to 1.6637 million tons and supported by the reducing output, prices of rebar and wire rod did not decrease greatly. Nevertheless, the demand for construction steel is shrinking and will be weaker in December duo to the colder weather, while buyers placed orders only for urgent needs. Consequently, insiders predict that prices of wire rod and rebar are unlikely to increase in December.
