HGI coil prices in Chinese prevailing markets experienced a downward trend this month dragged by the weak demand from downstream customers, although it was considered as the traditional high season in September. Since many factors, such as the futures market performance and financial policies, brought different impact on the market, most downstream customers were cautious about the market and inclined to hold a wait-and-see attitude instead of making deals in large order quantities. Therefore, traders were not confident of the coming market either. Insiders predict the market is likely to go with a wobble in the following month.
