In March, Chinese ferrochrome and chrome ore markets all go down greatly. The price of high carbon ferrochrome 50% decreases to about RMB9,000-9,200/t ex works in late March from 9,400-9,500/t ex works in early March. Many buyers are watching the market with thin deals. Due to the decreasing purchasing price from steel mills for April, many participants are not optimistic towards the future market.
