Fuyuan Rare Earth commences construction of 5,000tpy rare earth separation production line relocation project

On January 17, Guangdong Fuyuan Rare Earth New Materials Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony for its 5,000tpy rare earth separation production line relocation project.
The project will be relocated within Guangzhou Nansha (Pingyuan) Industrial Relocation Park in Pingyuan county, Meizhou city to cover a land area of 208 Mu (13.87 hectares). With a total investment of RMB21.81 million (USD3.44 million) and by acquiring similar and fix-assets-built projects, the relocation project is expected to form an annual rare earth processing capacity of 5,000t, able to separate and refine 15 kinds of single and high-purity rare earth oxides or rare earth richments. The project is expected to be totally built in September; by then Guangdong Fuyuan Rare Earth New Materials will take national lead in terms of equipment and production technique, with its annual production value to increase by 3.5 times to reach RMB2 billion (USD0.32 billion) and taxation to reach RMB138 million (USD21.75 million).
