15 coal enterprises in China have raw coal production of more than 50 million tons in 2021

According to the preliminary statistics from the Statistics and Information Department of the China Coal Industry Association, in 2021, there were 15 enterprises producing more than 50 million tons of raw coal, 1 less than the previous year. The total output of the 15 enterprises was about 2.47 billion tons, an increase of about 120 million tons or 5.3% over the previous year, accounting for about 61% of the total output in China.
In 2021, the enterprises with an annual output of over 100 million tons of raw coal in China were CHN Energy, Jineng Holding Group, Shandong Energy Group, China Coal Group, Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group and Shanxi Coking Coal Group. The output ranking was consistent with the previous year. Among them, Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry 's raw coal output exceeded 200 million tons for the first time, becoming the fifth enterprise in China with annual output exceeding 200 million tons. The total output of the six groups was about 1.85 billion tons, up by about 170 million tons or about 10% from the previous year, accounting for about 45% of the total raw coal output in China.
