Ningxia to control coal capacity at 140 million tons by 2025

The Department of Ecology and Environment of Ningxia Autonomous Region recently issued the "14th Five-Year Plan" for tackling climate change in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. By 2025, the coal production capacity of the region will be controlled at 140 million tons, the coal consumption per unit of GDP will be reduced by 15%, and the average standard coal consumption of coal-fired power plants will be reduced to below 300g/kWh.
