Dongfeng Honda new energy vehicle plant settles in Wuhan

On January 5, Dongfeng Honda Motor Co., Ltd. signed a new energy plant project with the Management Committee of Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone and the plant settled in China Automobile Valley in Wuhan. This is the fourth vehicle production plant established by Dongfeng Honda in China and Honda's first new energy benchmark vehicle plant project in the world.
The project covers an area of 630,000 square meters and plans to produce Honda's new e:N series electric models with a planned capacity of 256,000 vehicles. The project is planned to be officially put into operation in 2024, with a basic annual capacity of 120,000 vehicles in the initial stage. After the completion of the project, Dongfeng Honda will form a production and marketing capacity of more than one million units.
