CNCA and CCTD issue proposal to ensure coal supply and stabilize prices

China National Coal Association (CNCA) and China Coal Transport & Distribution Association (CCTD) jointly issued a proposal on January 6. The proposal mentioned that coal enterprises should strive to maintain normal production of coal mines, improve capabilities to guarantee coal supply, strengthen resource guarantees in key areas, ensure safe and stable coal supply and guide market prices to return to a reasonable level.
Coal enterprises should also accelerate the signing of mid- and long-term coal contracts in 2022, strictly implement the contract system and the "base price + floating price" pricing mechanism and ensure that the contracts are fulfilled.
At the same time, coal enterprise must ensure production safety, investigate and control hidden coal mine hazards, reasonably arrange production during holidays and do a good job in regular epidemic prevention and control.
