On December 19, the 300,000tpy prebaked anode carbon production project of Guizhou Luxing New Carbon Materials Co., Ltd. was ignited successfully, which means that the project of the company is put into operation, and the production capacity will be further released.
The 300,000tpy phase I project was started on October 4 last year and put into operation on December 19 this year. The output value of the first phase is about 1.8 billion yuan (282 million US dollars) and the investment is 650 million yuan (102 million US dollars). The 300,000tpy phase II project is planned to start construction next year, with a construction period of about one year. At that time, the prebaked anode carbon production project with an annual output of 600,000 tons can achieve an annual output value of 3 billion yuan (471 million US dollars).
