The project will have a planned investment of RMB5 billion (USD0.79 billion) and be constructed via three stages . Stage one will have an investment of RMB1 . 6 billion (USD0 . 25 billion) and an annual production capacity of 2GWh battery cells and 1GWh battery packs . Stage two will have an investment of RMB1 . 7 billion (USD0 . 27 billion) for constructing a new capacity of 2GWh battery cells and 1 . 5GWh battery packs . Stage three will be invested with RMB1 . 7 billion (USD0 . 27 billion) for additional capacity of 2GWh battery cells and 1 . 5GWh battery packs.
