NDRC announces nonferrous metals industry operation results in Jan-Oct

On November 30, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) reported the operation results of China's nonferrous metals industry from January to October 2021.
The output of smelting products increased rapidly. According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the output of ten non-ferrous metals in China from January to October was 53.76 million tons, up by 7.0% YOY. Among them, the output of refined copper, primary aluminum, lead and zinc were 8.62 million tons, 32.37 million tons, 5.96 million tons and 5.43 million tons respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 8.4%, 6.5%, 13.3% and 3.2% respectively.
The output of processed materials maintained growth. According to the data of NBS, the output of copper processed materials from January to October was 16.96 million tons, down by 5.4% YOY, and that of aluminum processed materials was 49.67 million tons, up by 9.3% YOY.
