CGN's 250MW Hualong PV power project starts construction

On November 18, the groundbreaking ceremony for China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN)'s 250MW Hualong fair price PV power generation project was held at Hualong, Haidong. The project has a planned land area of 332 hectares and is scheduled to be built in two phases, with a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan (235 million US dollars).
About one million yuan (15.66 million US dollars) will be invested this year to build total installed capacity of 250MWp. According to estimation, the project, upon completion, will cut CO2 emission by 337,400t and reduce standard coal consumption by 135,400t annually.
