On November 3, 2021, BTR held the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement in Changzhi city, Shanxi province, and established a joint venture company-Shanxi Ruijun New Material Technology Co
The registered capital of the joint venture company is RMB300 million (USD46.7 million) and BTR subscribes RMB153 million (USD23 . 9 million) with 51% of the shares . The project is planned to be constructed in two phases . The first phase of the project includes an integrated production line with an annual capacity of 40,000t of artificial graphite anodes materials, which is expected to have a total investment of RMB1 . 84 billion (USD287 . 4 million); the second phase of the project includes an additional integrated production line with an annual capacity of 30,000t of artificial graphite anode materials.
After the completion of the project, BTR will create an additional annual production capacity of 70,000t of artificial graphite anode materials, which establish the company's leading position in anode material market once again.
