Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China went down further during this month because of weak demand and the price decrease in steel mills' EXW prices, and those of grain oriented electrical steel witnessed an upward trend mainly supported by high prices of steel mills. The demand from downstream industries kept soft due to power rationing in many regions and traders had little confidence in the forthcoming market.
