Zinc Nacional announces capacity expansion plans

Mexico's Zinc Nacional, SA, a global leading provider of high-quality zinc compounds, announced that it will expand its production capacity. This includes building a 7,000 tpy French Process zinc oxide facility in Mexico, followed by an additional 10,000 tpy facility in the USA.
The company did not reveal the location of this new operation, but Millport, Alabama and Logansport, Indiana are the two sites being considered, where ZN currently has Waelz Oxide production operations.
